Commisioning A Church Website
Two Fish Net
How does it work?
Step One: Start Your Application
The first step is to complete our online inquiry form. This brief form allows us to understand your organisation’s needs and ensure our services are a good fit for your project. Please note that all submissions are subject to certain criteria, which must be met for your application to be considered and processed. These criteria may be amended in the future.
Once reviewed, we’ll send you our detailed application form as a PDF document to complete. For clarity, we are unable to consider applications for websites focused on political activities or causes. If you have any questions about our eligibility requirements or the application process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Applications for a church website or christian support / christian charity group site are open to Christian churches and church-sponsored community groups/organisations and fit the following critera:
Applicants for a church website must be based in the UK
The intended use of services or support must align with our core values of the Christian faith, community, and positive social impact.
A named leader or responsible party from the church or group must complete the application.
The applying organisation must have been active in their community for at least 12 months.
Applications should not be made on behalf of individuals or for personal projects.
Groups must agree to provide a short follow-up report or testimonial if their project is supported.

Step Two: Decide on your package and design for your church website
Once your application is accepted, the next step is to choose the setup that suits your church or group best.
We offer a range of packages designed to suit different needs and budgets—from simple starter sites to more advanced setups with membership areas, events calendars, and media galleries. Each package includes hosting, ongoing support, and regular backups to keep things running smoothly.
Design Inspiration For A Church Website
To make things easier, we’re currently developing a set of example church website and community group templates. These serve as a starting point to show what’s possible—and they’re fully customisable. Whether you’re after something minimalist and modern or something warm and welcoming, we’ll help you find a look and structure that fits your community.
Prefer a more bespoke design? No problem—we can talk through your vision and see what’s possible within your chosen package.
Customised Website
Your chosen template becomes uniquely yours through our customization. We tailor it to reflect your church or organization’s identity—logo, colours, images, content, and more. Think of it as your online home, lovingly fitted out to feel like you.
Web Hosting
Fast, secure, and reliable—our hosting is fully managed, meaning you don’t have to lift a finger. We handle updates, backups, and technical tweaks so your site stays online, up to date, and hassle-free.
Domain Management
Already have a domain? We’ll help you point it to your new site. Need one? We’ll help you register and manage it—all under one roof. No confusing control panels or renewal nightmares—we’ve got it covered.

Step Three: Submit your content.
Once your application is approved and you’ve chosen your package, we’ll send you a Content Collection PDF—your next step to bringing the site to life.
This easy-to-use electronic form guides you through everything we need to build your website, including:
Text for your pages (like welcome messages, service times, or event info)
Logos and branding details
Images and videos you’d like featured
Social media links & contact details
Think of it as your creative checklist. You don’t have to be a copywriter or a designer—just share what you have, and we’ll handle the rest. Need help? We’re happy to guide you through it or provide content tips as needed.
The sooner we get your materials, the sooner we can begin crafting your new site!
Step 4: We build your website
Once we’ve received your completed Content Collection PDF, we get straight to work. Initially, we’ll set up your domain name and hosting, taking care of all the necessary technical groundwork and backend configuration to ensure a solid foundation. With that sorted, our team then focuses on designing and building your website using the content you’ve provided. This is where your vision starts to come to life, pixel by pixel.
Here’s what happens behind the scenes:
We lay out your pages for easy navigation and a seamless user experience.
Your branding is woven throughout the site to keep it looking polished and professional.
We ensure your site looks great on phones, tablets, and desktops—because first impressions matter on every screen.
If we have any questions or ideas during the build, we’ll be in touch. Otherwise, sit back and relax—we’ve got it from here.
You’ll soon receive a private link to preview your new website before it’s launched.
